With a rich, distinctive voice and a knack for writing powerful songs with catchy melodies, singer/songwriter Austin Merrill is proving to be one of country music’s brightest rising stars. Hailing from the Oregon mountains, Austin first came to Nashville as an award-winning upright bassist and accomplished sax player. Following his graduation from Vanderbilt University and a stint as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Austin resettled in Music City and subsequently inked a deal with Foundry Records.

Featuring the Top 30 title track, Austin Merrill’s debut EP Whiskey & Water released in 2019 to critical acclaim. Produced by Grammy Award winner Mark Bright, the 5-track project showcases Austin’s songwriting prowess and has garnered over 1 million streams. The lead-off single “You’ll Come Knocking” was featured on Spotify’s New Boots playlist.

Austin’s single “All In”, as well as his newest release "Nights Are Long", was produced by Jacob Rice and both songs are part of an exciting new project in 2023.
